About Me

My name is Lorick, and I study at Cégep de Thetford in the mining program. 

In this program, I take many different courses such as exploitation of natural resources, topometry,  chemistry, and more. Those courses help me understand the operation of both undergroud and open-pit mines. Through my studies, I learn how to use mining equipments and how the ore is exploited. 

This program can lead to careers in exploitation, geology or mineralurgy. You can work outside, inside a mine or in a laboratory. This blog is a space where I share what I am learning and explore topics related to mining.
